It has its occasional players on it a few weeks ago i was almost playing with about 8 people on crosshairs server. it was fun as hell so people do still play it but with no new content it is a bit dry. Still I haven't played it in so long but I really do enjoy it I only wish people still had some motivation to continue working and improving the game even more along with new maps and weapons sadly that isnt going to happen apparently but I still play it once in awhile maybe I'll see you on it some time.
there is no active development for the mod anymore. FEAR is a few years old now, so people move on. i don't have time to work on it anymore either. _________________

my server has been running for about 6 months and game spy tracks player stats for me before i reset the stats i had about 300 regular players my server is www.crosshair2.com COOP server
