Some of the first articles about Monolith's demo at E3:
GameSpot’s First Look Impressions E3 07:
Andrew Park from GameSpot gets a first look at the Monolith’s sequel. “While publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developer Monolith have yet to finalize an official name for its sequel to the action-packed first-person shooter (a name that is being finalized later this month in a contest that the publisher is holding), it seems pretty clear from what we saw that the game itself will be every bit as bloody, violent, and profane as the original, if not much, much more so.” Read the entire article here.
Computerandvideogames.com First Impressions from E3
Will Porter from Computerandvideogames.com also had the opportunity to preview Monolith's demo at E3. “With its clearly improved action and unremitting blood stains (now incorporating footprints, added hand-prints and … garbled haemoglobin-packed swirls and strange words daubed on walls) …In short: colour me impressed.” Read the entire article here. _________________

Hey guys,
I was just wondering what the coop warfare developer's thoughts are on what they're going to do (if anything) when perseus mandate comes out? Are you guys thinking of incorporating the new mp stuff in perseus mandate / moving coop warfare over to the perseus mandate engine / sdk / whatever?
I have a distinct feeling that Monolith is not going to release any updates for fear / fear combat owners so that they can use any of the new stuff in perseus mandate mp, so a lot of fear/fear combat players are going to be left behind if they don't purchase perseus mandate.

Cheers.
This next expansion will prob be the same as Extraction Point.
Where the company have not released the SDK code for the game, so It cant be used.
As for the game itself, it will be stand alone to standard FEAR and Combat.
So yes people will be left behind, but I think it will be the other way around.
As people wont change from a Free MP to a pay for MP.
It will be a smallish community supporting this new game. _________________
Hmm ok. I do like the idea of sticking somewhat with fear combat, as it can be accessed by a much wider audience.
What if Perseus Mandate has fancy new features though?... Features like synchronised multiplayer physics, meaning we can actually have doors that work properly in multiplayer?
I suppose though that just having doors that work isn't really a good enough reason to totally ditch fear / fear combat.
Tim Hall: Yes. Both on the 360 and on the PC. We're including new instant action. We've upgraded a lot of stuff, and also introduced the new weapons from the singleplayer into the multiplayer. It's fun to run around with the minigun. No new game modes though.
Would be nice though if the current mod tools supported modelling software other than maya 6.0 for player and weapon models, as I imagine there would have been all sorts of fancy new weapons for regular fear by now. Even a nice minigun.
Actually, maybe (fingers crossed) they'll update the mod tools with the new release, with support for more 3d modelling software, either through more pluggins or a separate tool that can convert between formats.
Poser 6?? Why?? Does the export plugin that allows you to import new character models and guns work with poser 6????????????????????? I thought it only worked with Maya 6.0.
And I also thought that 3dsmax was only useful to fear if you want to import meshes into WorldEdit?
